The ERA-EDTA Congress is going to return to Budapest in 2019. The event was held in the Hungarian capital in 1986 and during the last 33 years, a lot of changes have occurred. ISN’s biennial World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) is the premiere international educational event in nephrology, which rotates between continents and is organized in collaboration with local and regional nephrology societies. It is targeted at the international nephrology community as well as other healthcare professionals involved in multidisciplinary kidney care. WCN enables professionals from all parts of the world to exchange views on a wide variety of topics relevant to nephrology and it supports ISN’s mission of building a future where all people have equitable access to sustainable kidney health.
This is the first time a large international nephrology meeting will focus on glomerulonephritis, and on intergrated end-stage kidney disease as well as issues with relevance to the Asia Pacific region.

Welcome to the 37th edition of the International Vicenza Course on Acute Kidney Injury and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies. We started with the idea of offering an updated course on the most important advances in the area of nephrology, critical care, cardiology and cardiac surgery. The course stands in perfect shape maintaining the same mission and its multidisciplinary nature. For this reason, the faculty is composed of more than 50 experts in the field coming from different disciplines and representing the top scientists and investigators of current literature.
The Course will host an AKI path and a CRRT path that will be held simultaneously. A series of lectures and panel discussions will be delivered during the days of the course. Our task is to put together specialists from different disciplines in a single scientific event with a multidisciplinary approach to the critically ill patient with acute kidney injury and multiple organ dysfunction.
